And the gas station across the road that had the little bear cub? You could buy him a Coke, in a glass bottle, and he would hold it in his paws and gulp it right down. My family used to stop in Red Lodge each summer while we traveled back to South Dakota and all over Montana each year. We always had a wonderful picnic at some park there and had homemade sandwiches, chips and Mom's cookies. I love the memory of that place and that time.
